People of Indore celebrate Rangapanchami more or less in the same manner as holi, but they mix the colors with water in a different style. On the festive day the local municipal corporation spray the colorful water on the Indore streets . Earlier fire brigade vehicles were used for this purpose. As a part of the festival musical performances and traditional songs are conducted.
