Bhopal has some small hillocks within its boundaries like Idgah Hills and Shamla Hills in the northern region. Sprawl over an area of five acres of land and located about 4kms from Bhopal city center is the Idgah Hill. Here there is an Idgah which believed to be built by Shahjahan Begum and large number of Muslim devotees visit here during Eid and other occasions, to offer their prayers.
