Located in the heart of the city, near to the cotton market in Subhash road is the Shri Geeta Mandir, one of the biggest temples in Nagpur. The Mandir was established in 1945 by Swami Vidhyanandji Maharaj. Festivals like Mahashivratri, Chitra Navratra, Ashwin Navratra, Manokamna Akhand Jyoti, Sanskrit day, Diwali Milan and the birth festival of Swami Sadanandji Maharaj are celebrated in the Mandir. The managing trustees of the temple society had done various welfare programmes for the people like by building houses, providing food, and clothing etc.
