All Saints Cathedral Church, located in the heart of
Nagpur in Sadar area (2kms north), is nearby the Bishop Cotton School.
This 19th century gothic style church is the Cathedral Church of North
India. It is an architectural marvel designed by Lieutenant-General Sir
Richard Hieram Sankey in 1851. Later in 1879 the gifted English architect
G. F. Bodley altered the church by lengthening the nave, deepening the
transepts and adding a chancel, two vestries and an organ chamber. All
Saints Cathedral Church is one of the finest churches in Nagpur with beautiful
windows, exceptional glass panels and the beautiful altar. Arts and Science
College named as Hislop College and the famous Muir Memorial Hospital,
functions under All Saints Cathedral Church.
