Kerala Legislative Assembly golden jubilee memorial museum,
located within the Legislative assembly complex at Palayam, was inaugurated
in April 2013. Built as a memorial to the Father of our Nation, the museums
would promote the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. Legislative museum
houses more than 100 rare pictures, extensive collection of audio and
video materials, a visual display on the life and vision of Gandhiji and
a video on the history of the legislative process in the State. The museum
was intended to help the young generation to know more about the life
and work of Mahatma Gandhi. Legislative museumalso has a research centre,
library and mini theatre with LCD projectors and touch screen facilities.
