Air :
The domestic airport of Surat known as Surat Airport which was inaugurated on 6th May 2007 is situated near Magdalla in the Surat-Dumas Road. Covering a total area of 312 hectares of land, the airport is located at a distance of 4 Kms from Parle Point. Indian airlines and Kingfisher airlines operate ply flights to Delhi and operate flights to and from Surat to Delhi, Jaipur and Kandla.

Rail:
Surat is one of the major station in the Western railways network and an important junction on the Mumbai-Delhi-Ahamadbad broad gauge line. Surat Thani Railway station is located on the east bank of Tapi river in Tha Kham town, Phun Phin district. It is well connected to almost every Indian city via Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Mumbai is 256 km away from here while Ahmedabad is 230 km far from here.

Road:
Major cities of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh are well connected to Surat city through National highway-8. Surat is 230 km away from Ahmedabad while Mumbai and Vadodara are at a distance of 262 and 129 kms respectively. State transport buses and a number of private luxury coaches operates from the city.
Auto rickshaws are commonly used for local transport
