Betalbatim Beach at a distance of 8 kms from Margao lies along the South Goa coast. This golden beach, popularly known as sunset beach lies to the south of  Majorda beach and north of Colva beach. It is lined by cold pine trees, and dolphins and birds of prey are often sighted here. The beach has several beach shacks and fine restaurants.
