The cattle fair of Thiruvannamalai held during the famous Karthikai
Dheepam festival is one of the busiest fairs and lasts for four
days. It is estimated that nearly 20,000 cattle are brought to the fair.
All varieties of animals, cows, buffaloes, bulls, sheep, goat and ponies
are sold here.
