MI Road is a curved road which is similar to Delhi's Connaught Place, situated in the south-western part of the city. The tourist can purchase variety of things that may include antiques, handicrafts, textiles, pottery, woodwork, brass work, jewellery and so on from the various emporiums located here. Enameled pottery, Birdri's carving articles, black prints and bandhuni sarees are the famous items available here. An ancient architectural shop; government recommended emporiums like Rajasthan Government Emporium , Rajasthani or Handloom House and Khadi Ghar; branded showrooms like Raymond's, Pepe, Woodland, Benetton etc are located on this road. MI Road is scattered with several famous hotels like Maharani Palace, Rambagh Palace, Mansingh Palace and Jai Mahal Palace; restaurants namely Niros, Suryamahal, Mc Donald, Pizza Hut and Copper Chimney, and the theater called Raj Mandir.
