Located in front of Bendre Bhavan memorial, at a distance of 5kms away from Dharwad, is the beautiful Sadhanakeri Lake. For boating, two pedal boats and a mechanical boat are available and the sunset view from here is really awesome. During the month of December, variety of birds flock towards the lake. 

The surrounding area of the lake, spread over eight acres of land has been transformed into a park. The park houses an amphitheatre, walking path, musical fountain, children's amusement park, good landscape etc. At weekends, cultural programmes are organised at the amphitheatre.
