The Grammys are one of the most prestigious awards for any musician. When it comes to music, India has a wide variety of musical traditions and over the years there have been several Indian musicians who have made us proud at the International level. Take a look at the Indian celebs who have bagged the Grammy award.
Ustad Zakir Hussain
Ustad Zakir Hussain has bagged three awards at the 66th Grammy Awards. He picked the coveted award in 'Best Global Music Performance' category for 'Pashto'. Hussain, is also part of the Jazz group 'Shakti', won 'The best Global Music album award for its latest album 'This Moment'. Also 'As We Speak' in which the tabla maveick has collaborated with Bela Fleck, Edgar Meyer and Rakesh Chaurasia won the Grammy for the 'Best Contemporary Instrumental Album' category.
