Uric Acid is the end product of purine metabolism. Foods rich in purine are Organ meats, pastries with yeast and chocolate, beer and sugary beverages etc. Avoiding these foods is a way of reducing production of Uric Acid. Hyderation is important for the excretion of Excess Uric Acid, so drink plenty of water.Consumption of Cherries is believed to reduce Uric Acid. Green leafy Vegitables and potatoes also may reduce the production of Uric Acid.
