Nag Vasuki Temple

 

Shri Naag Vasuki temple is located on the banks of the Ganga to the north of the railway bridge is about 5kms from the city. This temple mentioned in the 'Puranas' is dedicated to Vasuki, the king of serpents and is a fine example of medieval architecture. It has statues of Nag Raj, Ganesh, Parvati and a reclining statue of Bhishma Pitamah. An annual fair is held here on occasion of Nag Panchami.
