Chiklod situated 45 kms southeast of Bhopal in Raisen district is a historical town famous for its marvelous lake side palace. The palace was the summer resort of the former ruler, Nawab hamidulla Khan. Set amidst Sylva surroundings, the scenic Chiklod lake and the nearby garden are ideal picnic spot.
