Navy Partners with Kochi Corporation in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

The Navy and the Kochi Corporation kicked off the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Kochi on 02 October 2014. Worshipful Mayor of Kochi Shri Tony Chammany and the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, Vice Admiral SPS Cheema jointly inaugurated the campaign by paying homage to the Father of the Nation and then led the naval personnel in their effort to ensure a Clean Kochi. Councilors of the Corporation, the deputy mayor and senior officers from the Southern Naval Command were also present at the venue.
