Nakshatra(star) Van is a park situated near Raj Bhawan in Jharkhand. It is constructed in the year 2003 by State Government and inaugerated in the year 2004. It is a Designed Project in which 27 plants been planted according to the 27 planets of Astrology Science. There is a big circle in the center of this park . Here the trees are planted in a particular manner. Trees are planted in straight lines in different segments of the circle. Each sector resembles a specific zodiac sign. Those trees are of medicinal, social, aesthetic or economic value.
 Here the tourist attractions are Musical Fountain at the center of this circle, Beautiful Medicinal Plants garden and Library,Children’s Park, Zodiac Trees planted in a circle, Flower Garden, Artificial Water Fall and Bridge, Boating in water tank , Sleeping statue of Dhanvantri and various sculptures.The park is also used for conducting meetings. The Nakshatra Van Ranchi is administered by the Jharkhand State Forest Development Corporation.
