Morjim Beach located in Pernem taluk is an isolated beach lying across the Chapora river and fort, at a distance of 30kms from Panjim. Also known as Goa's turtle nesting, Morjim is home to the Olive Ridley sea turtle. It is one among the two quietest beaches in North Goa and the other being Ashwem beach. Though the beach is attractive, very few day trippers come here even in the peak season.
