The City Centre or Sector 17, the main shopping centre of Chandigarh, is a blend of cuboids and open spaces. This pedestrian's paradise scattered with fountains, sculptures and groves of trees, provides everything for a shopper.  There are innumerable shops selling all kinds of wares, government emporiums, coffee shops and eateries here. In the evenings, it becomes crowded with shoppers.
