Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation organises a
number of festivals annually. Delhi, being the capital of India, important
national days such as the Republic Day on 26th of January and Independence
Day on 15th of August are celebrated with great fervor. Thousands of
enthusiastic spectators vie to catch a glimpse of the Republic day parade
held at Rajpath, which is a grand celebration of India's cultural and
military might.
