Epidemic |

An epidemic is the widespread occurrence of a disease in a community at a particular time. The word derived from the Greek words 'Epi' meaning 'upon' and Demos 'people' depicts the sudden severe outbreak of a disease, mostly communicable and at times fatal causing fear among the public. |
