Maa Tarini Temple, located at Civil Township about 9kms from the city center was constructed in 1969 by the donation of public. Besides the main temple of Maa Tarini, the complex has a number of small temples. The main entrance of the temple, on both sides, is guarded by the statue of two lions. Maa Tarini temple is open for the devotees from 5am to 8pm.
