Lord Jagannath Temple devoted to Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Maa Subhadra is located in a town called Ahirabandh in sector 3, about 1km from the city center. Sometimes known as Ahirabandh Jagannath Temple, this attractive 90 feet high temple was constructed during the year 1975. As in the Puri Jagannath Temple, 13 festivals including a car festival are observed here in a year, with much fanfare.

The Jagannatha temple complex also houses an Ayyappa temple, famed for its architectural design. Maa Maha Laxmi and Sri Ganesh Temple are the other two temple located in the vicinity of sector 3.
