The picturesque Kerwa Dam, surrounded by hills and full of greenery, is a popular hangout on the outskirts of Bhopal, which is about 15kms from the city. This reservoir with a catchment area of about 69 sq. km. have been constructed to meet the water demands of Bhopal city during dry seasons. 

Nearby the Kerwa Dam, there is an entertainment park for children with amenities like swings, see-saws, slides, fountain, etc. One can enjoy lot of adventurous activity in and around the dam area.
