Neelamperoor Palli Bhagavathy Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga is located at a distance of 16kms south of Kottayam. Also known as Bhagavathikkavu, the temple has a history of about 1000 years and is noted for the annual Padayani festival. The idol of Mahavishnu here resembles that of Sree Budha.
