Road :
Private bus stand is in the centre of the town, near to the railway station.
KSRTC bus terminal is at the south of the city on T.B Road. There
are frequent bus connections with Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Thekkady
and three buses daily to Madurai. An excellent network of roads connects
the district to all the major towns and cities of India.
Ferry
There are two ferry stations at Kottayam. The town jetty is about 1.5
Km away from the KSRTC bus stand and 3 km away from the railway station.
During summer season the boats operates from Kodimatha jetty which is
about 1 Km away from KSRTC bus terminal and 2.5 Km from railway station. |
