Kudamaloor church, a famous Marian pilgrim center, is one of the ancient
churches of the Syro-Malabar Rite located about 7 kms north of Kottayam.
This 800 years old church was believed to be built by Chempakasseri Maharajah.
The main offering here is a traditional water bag and rope which
is used to take water from the well.
