The museum dedicated to the memory of Sir. M. Visveswaraiah, one of
the architects of modern Karnataka, is a wonder land of information on
science and technology. Established in 1962 on Kasturba Road , the museum
displays an airplane and steam engine in its compound and houses various
technological gadgets, working model and diagrams.
Each gallery in the museum is dedicated to a particular aspect of technology
and these includes an Engine hall, Electronic Technology Gallery, Kimbe
Paper Metals Gallery, Popular Science Gallery and Children's Science Gallery.One
of the specialties of the museum is the mobile science exhibition that
contains diverse information on the contribution of science and technology
tohuman welfare and industrial development. Seminars, demonstrations and
film shows on scientific subjects are organized periodically. One can
visit the museum on all days from 10am to 5.30pm except Mondays .
