The
State High Court Attara Kacheri, located in Cubbon park and situated opposite
the Vidhan Soudha, is a fine example of Greco-Roman architecture. Constructed
in 1867, this magnificent two storied red coloured building of stone and
brick, houses the high court and several lower courts. Attara Kacheri
literally means 'The eighteen offices or departments'.
