Dr. Mahipal S Sachdev completed his MBBS from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and pursued MD in Ophthalmology at Dr Rajendra Prasad Center for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS. He did fellowship at the Georgetown University, Washington, USA. He has received training in Refractive Surgery and Phacoemulsification. Government of India has awarded him Padmashree for the excellence in eye-care. Dr. Sachdev has been President and Secretary of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS) and the Chairman, Scientific Committee of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS). Currently he is the Chairman- Scientific Committee, Intraocular implant and Refractive Society, India.
