Q Hello Sir, I have passed my B.Sc. (Comp.Sc.) degree this year...now I want to make my career in physics by doing M.Sc. I have filled forms of entrance exams in some universities but I didn't take any coaching for these exams so I want to drop and next year try again...so please suggest me that for entrance should I take coaching or do self study so that I will get admission in M.Sc. physics in good university...please reply as soon I'm so confused...

Hello Arzoo,
This year, try to use rest of your time for preparation and attend the exam.

Nothing wrong in that. At least, you will get in touch with question patterns.

OK, for next year, since you are not strictly from physics background, coaching may help you to perform well.

By the way, why dont you follow MSc computer science. You may find a better career as computer scientist. IT is not always software engineering and BPO :)

Best wishes
Rupesh

If you believe in your dream, go ahead! Invest your coming year for entrance exam for IIT-JAM. Since you are planing to go for online coaching (highly recommended and beneficial for you) , you may find good references for preparing from themselves. It is bit hard to suggest a single book for all. However, what I would suggest you to collect the previous question paper and solutions. One thing I would like to mentions you that please dont stick with MSc in IITs. Please also look for other universities too. Best wishes and good luck.
