I am a graduate holding degree in computer science from university of Kerala.I'm looking forward to apply for the Indian Forest Service Examination in this year. But I could'nt confirm my eligibility yet.
The following is the eligibility criteria described in upsc.gov.in website.
It says
"A Bachelor's degree with atleast ONE OF THE SUBJECTS namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent."
There havent spcifically mentioned that B.Sc computer science, is an eligible subject or not an eligible subject, for this examination. But, since the degree is in semester form and Mathematics is a subject in the syllabus of B.Sc computer science, I have a doubt whether there is any scope for me to appear for the I.F.S examination.
