As you wish to become a programmer and software engineer it is better for you to take B.Tech CSE. The difference is that B.Tech is an engineering course A computer engineering graduate can find job in reputed companies as a Software/ Hardware Engineer, which are the two main sectors in the computer industry. After BSc in computer science one can work as programmers, web developers and e-commerce specialists in variety of environments in university, research, private and public industries, government departments, business organizations and commercial organizations.
