Q I have just completed my 12th class and didn't score good in the exams, about 70% in board exams and 63 in jee mains. Of course I won't be getting a good college so I was thinking to drop, but now I am thinking to take admission in 2nd year diploma and then apply for college after diploma. Is competition less in applying for colleges after diploma than in jee mains? Is my decision right? Dropping a year or taking lateral entry in diploma would consume 1 extra year.

As you didm't score good marks in the exams, it is better for you to do the diploma course
