Tally is a popular accounting software or computerised accounting. Recently most of the firms done accounting works with the help of tally. So tally is essential for accounting. For studying accountancy I think tally is not compulsory. The basic educational qualification for pursuing a career in Accounting is taking 10+2 with Commerce as the main subject, followed by a bachelor degree in Commerce.
