Q Sir, I have a DOEACC's O Level Diploma and Arena Multimedia's one and half year course Diploma. I could not pursue my formal education due to family issues. I am now 38 and work as a freelance writer for The Windows Club. I won Microsoft Most Valuable Award for Windows, three years in a row. I am tired of writing from home as I feel isolated from rest of the world plus it is not bringing me any good rewards in terms of pay or otherwise. I know I was fairly good at programming with C. In my job hunt, I was hired by BPO/Call centers but I never applied for programming (as I was more inclined towards video editing). To cut it short, I have 10 years of experience in content writing (tech related). I now wish to do something else and something more for a decent living. I have decided to go back to studies. What do you suggest? Should I go for IGNOU BCA and learn programming again for a programmer job or should I go with technical writing? I know BCA will take some three years to complete but will it provide me with a better future in long run? Please advice Thanks, Arun
