Q I am an Practicing advocate at Courts in State of Andhra Pradesh, India, including High Court of A.P. I have passed my LL.B during the year 1981 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh State. Now, I am intending to practice as an advocate at US Courts. Now my existing qualification is sufficient to practice at US, or I need any special qualifications?

28 states in U.S.A have an alternative route for foreign lawyers to practice via a Foreign Legal Consultant license. This permits foreign lawyers restricted legal practice within that state on the basis of their home country qualifications and experience. Please visit the following links for more details
