Hi Sandeep,
I do Accept with Nirmala, You should do what you like to do ! However Acc to my Opinion it's equally very IMP to know the others experiences as well before taking any decision.
My Opinion is like,
1. If you are interested in CSE only to get a job in big IT Industry, No matter what ever Brach you take or belongs to, everybody has equal opportunities in IT sector.
2. IF COMPUTER ENGG-
a) Advantage-> Once you are IN you'll have a little Advantage during training period over non computer Engg's but after couple of years the diff won't be much.
d) Less Adv-> Comp Engg left with no other option as they have to depend only on IT Sector to get handsome Job (ofcoz in private sector). BUT Non Comp Engg student have an Advantage here, as I said He/she will get the equal opportunities like CE in IT and can also get jobs related to their branch(Ex: Electrical, Electronics, Mech etc etc).
3. If you actually wanted to become a REAL Computer Engg or any other i.e., “Research oriented study”. Here never compromise on any body’s decision, think twice/thrice before you take your decision.
All the best dear..
