| 2 | Hi, Glad to know about your intent to join the army. There is combined defence service ( CDS) exam conducted by USPC( union public service commission. First there is a written exam if qualified you have to undergo a 5 day rigorous SSB ( service selection boards multi disciplinary interview board. There are 2 types of commission short service and permanent commission. Pl feel free to ask for any other details. Regards Shamsher |
