One of my friend, a busy academician mentioned that AVC College Autonomous, Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu is also offering M.Sc Bioinformatics and One year PG diploma Programme in Bioinformatics with well structured infrastructure facilities, and well framed curriculum that needs for future need. I think they are also offering the course with minimum fee structure in the State. I came across few persons who disagree about Bioinformatics. But they donot even know the basis of Bioinformatics. With out knowing the applications of the field they comment. But, I am sure that the science research field is turning towards Bionformatics in India. As per my concern, it is a good field on futuristic approach. there is a great job opportunities at MNC's. Business giants in india like TCS, Wipro, Satyam, Ranboxy, Sipla, Dr.Reddy's are recruiting Bioinformaticians.
