| 2 | Yes you are eligible. There is a COC3 Course for Deck Cadet which is being conducted by a Maritime Academy in India. The course is for 21 / 28 months with 12 / 18 months Sea Training on boards Foreign Going ships with stipend and the final Training to obtain COC3 Certification training in Abroad. The successful completion of course qualifies you as 3rd officer with the Merchant Navy. The minimum qualifications required is 12TH Std. Passed in any discipline including ARTS/SCIENCE/COMMERCE. |
