There's no one kind of food for any particular breed of dog even though pet food marketeers wud like all of us to believe that. Understand u'r breed, its size & growth patterns & feed him accordingly. A comprehensive, overall well balanced diet consisting of different food components is ideal. Also feeding a dog more doesn't mean loving him more...any dog has to be fed based upon its growth,size, climate & physical activity/exercise. Like humans overeating is bad for the dog's too.
