ABG is Arterial Blood Gases Blood is taken from any artery usually radial artery. Gases such as Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide dissolved in the blood can be measured from this. PH and Bicarbonate can also measured. These measurements can give information about Respiration and Gas exchange in the lungs.
