Respected sir, I am an IT student currently pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering in University of PUNE.I was absent for one my language paper in 12th standard.I cleared that paper in next term and got admission for engineering degree course.Right now I`m in last year of my course and fetched a problem due to the incidence mentioned above.I was appeared for selection process of Tata Technologies inc. and cleared all rounds from apti,GD and technical as well.Even salary discussions in HR round had completed.But finally HR raised the point of clearing the language paper in next term as I mentioned earlier and put my paper down to reject me from all the candidates called up for HR round.And other companies are not letting me to appear for their selection process.So,my question is `is there any solution to above problem? If yes ,please reply as early as possible.Elaborated answer will be appreciated. Thnx a lot.

Dear Prasad,

I hope everything alright with you. I think you need not worry about the rejection you faced from that company. Life is a mix of ups and downs, but our fight will continue. BTW I am surprised about the fact that the company used that as a negative point to reject your file. They should not have done that. Failing a language paper (which language?) at +2 and clearing it after and four years passed. It should not have been in discussion at all, because its a no issue. However I would consider it as isolated event in your life and may not happen again.

Nevertheless I do not understand why other companies not letting you participate in the selection process!. Are you sure this is the reason? Please talk with the placement cell and figure out the issues clearly. Personally I dont believe its an issue to stop you from facing an interview.
