| 1 | Hello Sharvari, Science for Society:- Let me imagine how does it work for you after 15 years from now. You will be working as a principle investigator/ senior scientist/team leader in a reputed research institute in the area of applied physics. You will always try to work in close with industry, as you want to bring the outcomes of your research to the society. You will conduct summer schools and workshops for students and motivate them for pursuing a career in science. You will be a role model for many of your students and people. All the above said things, though I listed a few, are really possible for you. Because, you have a great dream to chase. So your mind is set, but how to get there? Ok! Let me try to point out two potential general field for research. Energy harvesting: research in material science with focus on energy production/ storage/conversion/transport. Imagining: Applied optics for bio-sensing/non-destructive measurement/ metrology. Hope this information will help you to chase your dream. Wishing you wonderful career ahead. Please write to us, for further specific information. |
