Add a pinch of soda-bicarbonate to spinach while blanching to retain its bright green colour.also never overcook greens as they will lose their colour,taste and vital nutrients. |

When ever you fry something grease your frying pan with cooking oil and heat it for a min then clean it off if ever you use your frying pan for heating some curry. The frying items wont stick to your pan. |

Adding turmeric will help pickles from getting spoilt. |
