The Heart Care Foundation has been established as a charitable trust under the aegis of Dr. Jose Chacko Periyappuram, the Chairman of the Foundation. Dr. Jose Chacko, happens to be the first doctor to successfully conduct ‘heart transplantation’ in Kerala
The primary mission charted out by the Heart Care Foundation is as follows:
To monetarily assist poor heart patients
To provide moral support to patients and their families
To conduct awareness campaigns about the disease among the masses
To spread awareness on organ donation, collect and manage data on organ and blood donors, for use in times of need
To conduct and assist in heart care research |
