Snehatheeram Beach | The Love Shore of Thrissur! |
Snehatheeram Beach or Love Shore in Thalikulam of Thrissur district is a calm place to spend leisure time with family, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The beach is quite known for the fun park, making it a best day out for kids too. Colourful flowers in the lush green garden and an aquarium with marvellous variety of marine species make us feel as if part of nature itself.
Snehatheeram beach was awarded the best beach park by Kerala tourism department. This park was rebuilt after it was destroyed by the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004.
Naalukettu, a famous restaurant is nearby, that treats us with coastal Thrissur seafood.
Tiled walkway with good seating is the biggest attraction here. Adjacent to the walkway, rocks are laid down touching the Arabian Sea.
Sitting at the edge of these rocks we could enjoy the beauty of the Arabian waves.
