The actor won the honour for his performance in Atlee directorial 'Jawan'. The Best Actor National Award was shared by Vikrant Massey for his performance in '12th fail'.

Rani Mukerji
The Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji was honoured with the Best Actress National Award for her role in 'Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway' released in 2023. The actress looked elegant in a brown saree, complementing her outfit with a silver-plated necklace, earrings and bangles. The actress was all smiles as she accepted the silver medal for her performance from President Droupadi Murmu.

Vikrant Massey
Vikrant Massey also won the National Award in the Best Actor category for his performance in the film '12th Fail'. It was directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film also won the National Award for the best feature film at the ceremony. Based on a true story, the actor portrayed the role of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma in the film.

Filmmaker Karan Johar attended the 71st National Film Awards as his project ' Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' bagged the National Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment on Tuesday. Karan received the prestigious award from President Droupadi Murmu at Vigyan Bhawan. The film starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
