Uttar Pradesh is the fifth largest state in India in terms of land, its total land area is extend in 2,43,286 square kilometers. Uttar Pradesh is the most populated state over the 200 million population in his own state. Lucknow is the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh is divided into 75 Districts and its official language is Hindi.

UP is well known for his historical heritage and its extensive culture. It has its holy cities like Varanasi (the city of goddess Shiva), Ayodhya (the city of goddess RAM), Mathura (the birth place of goddess Krishna) and many other well known holy places are located in Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh is also famous for Politics. This state has its own one of the seven wonders in the world i.e. Taj Mahel.

This state has a long tradition of classical dance and music such as kathak and thumri. It is also well known for its folk music & dance and it is specially it is known for Bhojpuri music and dance. Many of the wildlife centuries and national parks are found in this state including Dudha National Park and Chambal Wildlife centaury.

Varanasi, considered one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, is a major pilgrimage destination for Hindus. Other significant religious sites include Ayodhya, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama, Mathura, associated with Lord Krishna, and Allahabad (Prayagraj), known for the confluence of three holy rivers.
