Broiling is similar to grilling with a difference in maintaining the temperatures constantly. Grilling has a thermostat which maintains the requried temperature and turn off automatically when it reaches the desired temperature. This allows the chicken to cook itself in its steam. Bur for broiling you can maintain constant heat for broiling by proping the door now and then, so that the heat escapes and the direct heat is maintained. An OVEN can be used for broiling/ grilling.
